Today in human geography class, we took a test. Yay for test. Will it hopefully bring my still an F in this class? I think so! I don't think I did terrible on it so it can't make it go down even lower. I thought I would end up hating the timed portion of the test, but found it pretty easy and probably saved my grade. I also liked how you emailed us a study guide for the test. It helped me a ton! I suggest we do this for more to come so everyone will pass this class. Okay well since this is all we did today in class I'm gonna stop talking now. I'm ready for western civilization though now.
Today's class was one of the most interesting ones we've had so far. Today's discussion focused mainly around what thinking globally and acting locally means. What do they mean? An example used in class today was farming. If everyone starting farming for their fruits and vegetables, it would affect grocery stores. Now of course the stores wouldn't go out of business, the fruits and vegetables rate being sold would increase. So in other words, something we did locally would effect globally. But besides this discussion we talked about our thoughts on voting. How more older people tend to vote more nowadays. This brought up the discussion of weather or not the age for kids to be able to start voting should be lowered to age 16. In my opinion, I think at this age we are too young and immature to be asked and vote for political affairs, because honestly everyone would just think the same as their parents.
